The Surgical Experience

Have nothing to eat for at least 6 hours See a cardiologist if he or she has a heart problem Have laboratory testing and an EKG if having major surgery Have a complete history, physical, and review of systems, and any testing that is indicated Be evaluated and cleared by a medical doctor or anesthesiologist before surgery is scheduled
